Software Development Engineer Intern
- Reduced load times for 300,000 files by a factor of 30 by leveraging separation of concerns between Envoy and AWS DynamoDB
- Following a modular software pattern, we saved all documents to Envoy, allowing us to swap back-end storage services
- Designed a white label front-end in Angular that allows the document system to be integrated into existing applications
- Participated in daily stand ups on an Agile team working closely with the product owner to create, deliver, and approve stories
- Deployed to non-production environments for QA approval and user testing prior to launching in production

Hackathon Project
Rocket Risk Calculator
Using a web scraper written in Python, we scraped Wikipedia to collect 1,000+ data points on past rocket launches, then we fed them into AWS Machine Learning Service to generate a prediction model for future launches
